About Tina

Whether it’s putting others’ needs before our own, blindly pursuing our ambitions, or getting stuck in a pattern of unhealthy habits- most of us have suffered from neglecting our bodies. I did all three as a single mom trying to hold down a career. My health was not a priority, and my decisions were based on expediency and convenience. All of that changed when someone recognized the suffering happening within me. I took my first step by joining a local women’s gym, and what started out as an impossible time commitment blossomed into passion. A small change turned into a lifestyle. Fast forward 35 years… I have 18 national fitness certifications, earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in exercise science and nutrition, competed in fitness competitions, and taught hundreds of group fitness classes across Southern California. Best of all, I have had the opportunity to personally train others who have changed their lives. The most rewarding part about my job is helping others find their own personal path to a healthy, active and joyful life. I once had a client tell me that I “truly put the personal in personal training.”
